On Friday 14 December 2018 we celebrated the 90th anniversary of the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO). It was a day filled with numerous speakers, including our very own Prof. Dr. Pieter Vandervoort and dr. Chris Van Hoof who discussed the mHealth potential. This interesting talk was moderated by the lovely dr. Valerie Storms, who did an excellent job.
The anniversary event invited over more than 1,250 participants, being the largest scientific congress in Belgium. In addition, the venue, Flanders Meeting & Convention Center Antwerp, was mesmerizing as it was located next to the Antwerp Zoo.
Overall, it was a nice celebration and inspiring for upcoming research.
