On Wednesday November 30th, 2016 the annual Mobile Health congress was held by Agoria and TMAB Bussiness Events. This day was about visualizing and discussing the trends, progress and challenges of Mobile Health.
One of the presenters was Prof. Dr. Wilfried Gyselaers, an obstetrician at Ziekenhuis Oost Limburg in Genk and a member of the MHU team@Hasselt University. He discussed the Mobile Health technologies in early diagnostics and management of gestational hypertensive diseases. He strongly believes in the positive role of Mobile Health technologies for the improvement of clinical management and outcome. Implementation of Mobile Health could reduce excessive investigations and hospital admissions at the MIC and NIC departments and has a positive influence on health reated costs for the society.
