On Thursday, June 2nd Agoria presents for the 6th time the Agoria eHealth Awards in the Colonial Palace in Tervuren. An important annual event for decision makers from the healthcare sector and captains of the ICT industry in Belgium.
Each year, hospitals, nursing homes, health services, universities and government are invited to submit ICT projects. An independent jury selects the best projects on the basis of predetermined criteria such as the potential for innovation in healthcare.
The LimPrOn (“Limburgs Pre-eclampsie Onderzoek”) project submitted by Hasselt University and Hospital East-Limburg is nominated for the Award of “Best mHealth project”. LimPrOn aims to reduce the morbidity and mortality of mother and child as a result of pre-eclampsia and this by early prenatal screening and an intensive follow-up by means of telemonitoring for high risk pregnancies.
Fingers crossed!
