Qompium, a startup company located in Limburg and a spin-off of the Mobile Health Unit, demonstrates the FibriChech app. This app detects heart rhythm disorders only using the smartphone camera. The article also mentions the research done by prof. dr. Gyselaers and Dorien Lanssens @ Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, Future Health department, on the early discovery of preeclampsia using remote monitoring in gynaecology.
